Millwrights Local 1009 received its charter from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America on March 17, 1975. It is the certified bargaining agent for all unionized millwrights in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Local 1009’s office is located at 89 McNamara Drive, Paradise Newfoundland.
